Talbot Bank, member of Shore Bancshares family of companies, enjoyed a visit from the four-year old preschool class of St. Luke’s School in St. Michaels, Maryland. The children were treated to a tour of the bank. They also learned about the letter “D” and how it relates to banking with terms such as deposit, debit card and debt.
“It always amazes us how much these young children grasp about the banking concepts we share with them. They are bright and such fun to be with,” says Parker Spurry, Branch Manager. The bank visit is an annual event for the school and Talbot Bank, who takes an active role in the financial literacy of future generations.
